Restaurant and bar branding we love
At Seas Design we love finding great branding from different businesses around the world. This blog post will focus on some of our favourite branding from restaurants and bars across the globe, from Manchester to Melbourne, Macedonia to Malta. We thought we would share some of our favourite, uniquely branded establishments.
Located in Vancouver, Canada, Di Beppe is an Italian restaurant Inspired by the Italian immigrant's desire to share a piece of home while living abroad. Branded by Canadian studio Glasfurd & Walker we love the use of bold, distinctive typography and the colour scheme which pays homage to the Italian culture. Di Beppe is described as a young Italian restaurant with an old Italian soul.
Paul’s brasserie is located in the Haymarket hotel by Scandic, in Stockholm. The restaurant is influenced by classic European flavours. Branded by design studio 25AH, the branding features a luxurious blue and gold colour scheme. The original 1920s signage which is located on the outside of the building is what inspired the brand identity.
Culprit Dining room & bar is located in Auckland, New Zealand. The menu boasts a range of small and signature dishes, featuring produce from local growers and farmers. Branded by Studio South the restaurant hosts bold typography and a warm décor. We love the splashes of bright pink throughout the brand identity!
Bentwood
Bentwood is a Melbourne based café. Reflecting the rich history of the building, the interior is an intimate multi-layered space rich in depth and character that keeps the visitor intrigued and engaged. Branded by Studio Pop-Pac, the branding is muted yet daring, the earthy tones represent the brick walls throughout the building. We love the features of wood woven throughout the brand identity.
Sketch
Sketch London is located in Mayfair and is world famous for its unique interior décor. Sketch London is driven by art. It’s featured in the walls, the floors, and the bathrooms. An incredibly Instagram worthy spot with its famous dome shaped bathrooms and famous afternoon tea service. We adore the uniqueness and thoughtfulness that runs through the Sketch branding. The sketch website is an interactive funfair of different elements for the user to explore, designed by Hato – we love it!
Namii is a Manchester based Vietnamese inspired restaurant and cocktail bar. Branded by No Chintz studio, the bar is incredibly decorated with colour changing lanterns that hang from the ceiling and celebrates the traditional craftsmanship of Vietnamese culture. The pink and red colour clashing in the menu design really creates a bold and eye-catching style.
Oriole Bar in London is described as an oasis of warmth, mystery, and magic. The new menu was branded and designed by JCMT Agency, who did a brilliant job of capturing the essence of the bar.
Tasty Lounge Bar
Tasty Lounge Bar is located in Macedonia and is described as the place where elegance meets a great atmosphere. Tasty focuses on providing great seasonal food inspired by the Italian and the Macedonian traditional kitchen. The branding which was created by AlphaMark is elegant and classic, to portray the vibe within the restaurant.
The Horse and Elephant
Branded by MKcreative, The Horse & Elephant in London is branded in a luxurious and elevated way. We especially love how the logo features both a horse and elephant in a hidden way! A very creative and unique style of branding, with a dark colour scheme to add to the luxury feel.
Mun is located in Paris and is a restaurant that overlooks Champs-Elysées. Branded by Violaine & Jérémy (one of our favourite type foundries), the brand identity is minimal and elegant which contrasts with the opulence of fabrics in the restaurant.
Tilt is a local independent bar in Birmingham that specialise in Craft Beer, Specialty Coffee, and Pinball. The branding is unique and colourful and gives a vintage feel.
Bar Pine
Bar Pine is located in Xinyi, China. The bar is a hub of culture and is inspired by the pine trees surrounding. The brand identity was designed by Ting-An Ho and features the oriental trees and is bespoke and elegant. We love how dark and moody this one is!
Cahoots is a cocktail bar in Kingly Court in a disused train station which is now transformed into a 40s themed bar. The brand identity features dark red tones and neon signs, comfy chairs and ornate lamp shades have been dragged in through the metal station gates to spruce up the place and create an eclectic all-day tearoom. Quite a quirky place if you ask us!
One Eight Six in Manchester is a city centre barbershop with a hidden secret. Two destinations at one address: a premium barber shop and a relaxed bar / venue. Branded by No Chintz studio, the venue is contemporary and refined with bespoke a bespoke brand identity.
Joker No.19
Inspired by vintage mythological book covers and engravings, we created a series of illustrations of their signature cocktails and mysterious nightlife figures. Using copper foil set against shades of black and kraft paper, we created menus, stationary and interior graphics.
Khai Khai in Newcastle is an Indian inspired restaurant, celebrating Indian retro comfort food. The brand Design and identity by Run for the hills, celebrates the restaurants coal and smoke play offerings with a moody and dark bar design.
Alchemy Valletta
Alchemy Valletta in Malta is a mixology cocktail bar inspired by 19th century alchemists. We love how the branding is dark and compliments the cocktails on offer. The gold embossing on the menus is one of our favourite features of the brand identity.
Le Condé Punch & Cocktail Bar
Hyatt Regency Chantilly Hotel is home to Le Condé, Punch & Cocktail Bar. Le Condé is a felted lounge with extravagant touches where to chat, have fun and share signature punches and cocktails. We love the green and pink colour scheme and the stunning typographic identity!
Sexy Fish is an Asian restaurant and bar located on the corner of Berkeley Square, Mayfair, serving Japanese-inspired sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish, and meat cooked on a Robata grill. The interior of Sexy Fish is intricately designed and incredibly detailed. We are huge fans!
Amazonico London
(Our favourite) Amazónico London, is situated in the heart of Mayfair on Berkeley Square. The restaurant serves a combination of tropical and Latin American dishes. With live music and great food the restaurant has a buzzing atmosphere. The restaurant has exceptional interior design with intricate details and incredible colours!
