Great isn’t good enough - Focusing on creative thinking, originality and cutting-edge ideas

For Christmas 2020, we took a bold step away from tradition, ditching snowflakes and Santa hats to create something daring, wild, and utterly unexpected. Our campaign featured a Tiger King-inspired character riding a horse bareback, embodying the spirit of adventure and ambition with the slogan: “Great isn’t good enough.”

The decision to go non-festive this year was deliberate. After a year of challenges and change, we wanted to break the mould and capture attention in a way that celebrated creativity and resilience. By stepping out of the expected seasonal themes, we aimed to inspire our audience to think differently, challenge the norm, and strive for greatness, even when it means stepping outside your comfort zone.

As part of our commitment to learning and personal growth, each year we embrace a new skill to incorporate into our campaigns. For 2020, this meant tackling horseback riding. Over seven weeks, we learned to ride from scratch, progressing to bareback riding without a saddle or stirrups, a physically demanding and mentally exhilarating challenge. This journey mirrored the message of our campaign: greatness comes through daring to try something new and pushing beyond limits.

The result was a campaign that not only entertained but also captured the essence of perseverance and wild creativity, a fitting tribute to a year where “good enough” was never an option.
